Kensyukai Markham Kendo
Kensyukai Markham, formerly Markham Kendo Club, is a not-for-profit registered club dedicated to the Japanese martial art kendo, the way of the sword. Started in 2010 by our head instructor, Hideki Sumi (Kyoshi 7th Dan), Kensyukai Markham is open to all new students including children 8+. Kensyukai Markham is a club in good standing with Kendo Ontario and Canadian Kendo Federation (CKF), a member of the International Kendo Federation (FIK).
For more information visit the new beginners page or contact us. We’ll be happy to provide an orientation to Kendo.
